After clarifying these three points, consider whether to install a bathtub or not.

3. Unused power outlets

In order to prevent a shortage of power outlets, many families often place them all over the house when designing. However, such designs will make it difficult for you to change the position of furniture in the house, and many power outlets will be blocked by wardrobes or sofas. In that case, the power outlets you make are also useless.

If you want to add extra power outlets, draw a furniture arrangement plan beforehand to clarify the places where power outlets can be placed and avoid obstructions in case you want to change the position in the house.

4. Dark-colored floors

When decorating, I chose dark brown – black floors for their elegance, but the more I looked at them, the uglier they seemed to me. Besides, the most important thing is that they are super dirty, and I have to clean the house 3 times a day to confidently invite guests. I realized that I should choose light-colored floors because light colors can make the house brighter, reduce cleaning time, and create a warm and lively atmosphere.

5. Expensive TV wall

At first, I spent a lot of money to create a TV wall and spent a lot of time on it. However, this decorative part changes with trends and you will quickly get tired of it. It’s better to decorate and spend your money more wisely to save it for regular renovations, bringing a fresh feeling to your living space.

6. Oversized living room table

A large and cumbersome living room table that occupies space will make your house look smaller. Especially when there are children in the house, buying a small living room table will provide them with more space to play.
