10 Handy Kitchen Tips to Make Your Life Easier!
1. Popcorn popping
Prior to popping popcorn in the microwave or on the stovetop, you should soak the kernels in water for about 10 minutes. Then drain the water and pop the popcorn as usual. It may sound “counterintuitive”, but the moisture absorbed will help the popcorn pop faster and much fluffier.
2. Separate bananas
If you don’t want bananas to ripen too quickly, you should separate each banana and keep them a little apart, and also avoid placing bananas beside other fruits. During the ripening process, bananas release gases that make other nearby fruits ripen much faster.

3. Potatoes
To keep potatoes fresh for longer and prevent them from sprouting, you should place an apple in the middle of the bag of potatoes.
4. After cooking pasta or potatoes
Don’t immediately discard the cooking water, instead let it cool and use this water to water your plants, the plants you are growing will become much greener!
5. Defrosting meat
Pour a little vinegar on the meat that needs to be defrosted. Vinegar not only tenderizes the meat to make your dish taste better, it also helps defrost the meat faster.
6. Cleaning the kitchen and microwave
Baking soda is a relatively inexpensive and easy-to-find cooking and baking ingredient. Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with 1 cup of vinegar, and you will have a mixture that helps clean the kitchen and microwave very effectively.
7. Keeping cookies crispy

No need to use moisture-absorbing packets, just place 1-2 layers of paper towels at the bottom of the cookie jar. The paper towels will absorb the moisture and your cookies will stay crispy for a long time!
8. Cleaning stains on nails
After peeling fruits or preparing vegetables, your nails may have black or yellow stains. You can clean your hands by rubbing them with a freshly peeled potato. Washing hands with vinegar also helps clean these stains – if you don’t mind the smell of vinegar. This is definitely a small kitchen tip that every woman should remember, right?
9. Cooking oil
After deep-frying something, if you have to discard all the remaining cooking oil, it will feel wasteful, and reusing it will be problematic due to the aroma of the previous dish affecting the taste of the next dish. To solve this problem, simply filter the oil and then add a few slices of ginger to fry for a few minutes, the ginger will remove the aroma of the previous dishes, leaving the cooking oil fragrant and easy to reuse.

Try boiling a few slices of apple in the aluminum pot/pan that has become discolored, and you will see that they become bright, and the kitchen will have the fragrant smell of apples!
